CROM Expands Texas Footprint with the Acquisition of CFG Industries

Gainesville, FL – 10/1/2025 – CROM Infrastructure Holdings (“CROM”), a national leader in water infrastructure solutions, today announced it has acquired the assets of CFG Industries, a Houston-based provider of specialized infrastructure services. The acquisition was completed through CROM CFG Industries, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of CROM, and marks the company’s second platform transaction in 2025. In August, CROM completed the acquisition of North Carolina-based Carolina Management Company (CMT).

Founded and operated by industry veteran David Cadriel, CFG Industries brings more than three decades of expertise in coatings, structural rehabilitation, and complex project delivery. CFG’s services include high-performance coatings, structural repairs to concrete and steel infrastructure, underground utility and electrical system rehabilitation, lift station upgrades, specialty welding and fabrication, and dam gate rehabilitation.

“Adding CFG Industries to the CROM platform significantly enhances our ability to deliver comprehensive solutions across the water and wastewater sector while continuing our Client First Focus,” said Bobby Oyenarte, CEO of CROM. “David and his team have built a reputation for technical excellence and problem-solving on critical infrastructure projects.  We’re excited to welcome the CFG Team into the CROM family.”

Cadriel will join CROM as Vice President and General Manager of CROM | CFG, continuing to lead the business and its people under the CROM umbrella. Customers—primarily municipal water districts and cities—can expect not only continuity in leadership, service, and quality, but also greater resources and scale to meet their needs.

“This partnership allows CFG to scale our impact while maintaining the values and client focus we’re known for,” said David Cadriel. “With CROM’s backing, we are better positioned than ever to serve municipalities with the expanded depth of services and technical expertise.”

With the addition of CFG, CROM strengthens its capabilities in specialized coatings, structural rehabilitation, and custom project execution—furthering its mission to build, revitalize, and protect the nation’s essential infrastructure.
