Our dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Department works diligently to anticipate and recognize hazards and behaviors that could be harmful and proactively prevent accidents from happening. Our team is trained to assess hazards, prevent injuries, and honor our culture of SAFETY FIRST. We have been recognized for our attention to safety protocols, practices and forward thinking to bring our team members home safe.

Construction of prestressed concrete tanks, custom fabrications, and infrastructure restorations all have unique challenges. CROM Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Department
The Health, Safety and Environmental Team strives to mitigate hazards in the workplace as well as educate our Team Members on how to properly identify and correct deficiencies. Every function of the HSE Department, from pre-job planning and job inspections to safety training, provides support for the safety of each Team Member companywide. Our mission is to have every CROM Team Member return home safely every day!
CROM has experience that spans decades across various industry sectors. To ensure that we provide safe, durable, and quality results, we focus on certification-based training for our Team Members which encompasses application techniques, product knowledge, equipment, equipment maintenance, and safety training. Such certifications include OSHA 10, OSHA 30, Confined Space, Fall Protection, HAZMAT, and HAZCOM certifications.
CROM provides:
- Specific safety and job training beginning the first day of work
- Daily Activity Hazard Analysis on all projects
- Set objectives and goals for safe work procedures
- Safety audits completed by all field superintendents and leadership
- Strong personal accountability for workplace policy infractions
