CROM’s Innovative Straight Wall Tank and Design/Build Approach Delivers Greenfield Wastewater Facility Ahead of Schedule
NEXUS Water Group came to us after experiencing persistent leaks, steel and concrete degradation in many of its traditional wastewater tanks. Through our design/build process, they chose the innovative CROM2 Straight Wall Water Tight technology for a greenfield facility with a five-chamber, modular membrane bioreactor for wastewater treatment.
In addition to the new tank, CROM provided a custom aluminum handrail, overhead concrete walkway, concrete decks for process equipment and a grouted, sloped floor for the equalization tank.
With CROM’s concurrent design and construction approach, we delivered the modular tank four months ahead of schedule, condensing the anticipated construction time by more than 30%.
